I don’t know how it happened.<\/p>\n

I really don’t.<\/p>\n

After all, I’ve never owned a creamer pitcher shaped like a cow.<\/p>\n

Or salt and pepper shakers shaped like geese.<\/p>\n

I don’t have tissue box covers that look like barns.<\/p>\n

Or a milk bucket for an umbrella stand.<\/p>\n

My curtains do not have roosters on them.<\/p>\n

And the stove does not have burner covers painted with frolicking sheep.<\/p>\n

There is not a single tin sign advertising eggs or milk in my house.<\/p>\n

I firmly believe you can live on a farm without having to dress up like a farm inside the house.\u00a0 I mean, won’t people know it’s a farm when they have to swerve to avoid chickens in the driveway?<\/p>\n

So how could this happen?<\/p>\n

How?<\/p>\n

I didn’t notice when I found this cute little hen at the GW.<\/p>\n

Or when I tucked that sweetie on the\u00a0 shelf above the coat hooks.\u00a0 Along with my favorite pics of the kids and their farm animals.<\/p>\n

It never occurred to me when I ordered this funky wallpaper.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Can you see how cute that is?\u00a0 Oh, it warms my heart just looking at it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

You’d think I would have known when I built this nest box to hang over the recycling bins\u00a0 and hold the mail.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But, nope.<\/p>\n

Not until a visitor pointed it out did I feel the full impact of what I had done.<\/p>\n

When I decorated the hallway from the mudroom to the kitchen, I made a chicken room.<\/p>\n

I MADE A CHICKEN ROOM!!!!!<\/p>\n

O. M. G.<\/p>\n

It finally happened.<\/p>\n

Now I am one of them.<\/p>\n

So, go ahead.<\/p>\n

Send me duck mailbox covers for my birthday.\u00a0 Cows in Santa hats for Christmas.\u00a0 A flock of wooden sheep for the mantle.\u00a0 A goat soap dispenser.<\/p>\n

But, be careful when you’re picking out an adorable pig potholder…….<\/p>\n
