Blue Christmas.

Can you tell what is the same about all these windows and doors?

No, not the fingerprints and dog nose smudges.

No, not the dust on the sills.

No, not the cobwebs in the corners!

Jeez, are we friends or what?!

What’s the same is that all the doors and windows are wide open.  That’s right, fresh breezes and warm sunshine comin’ on through the screens.  The whole house filled with the gentle rattling of bare tree branches in the wind, the sound of leaves rustling in the ditches, and the birds chittering happily among the feeders.

See this?

Around here we call that Carolina Blue.

Or sometimes Blue Heaven.

I call it : Woo-Hoo! 69 Degrees The Week Before Christmas!

Joy to the World!

Or at least the southern part. 🙂

It’s strange how warm it’s been here too… but oh, how quickly things can change! *grin*
