Ruffled Feathers and Spilled Milk

I have installed a Share button on my blog posts.  This is so you can send all the exciting, entertaining, and educational news from my farm to everyone you know.   If you actually “know”  the 600 friends on your Facebook page.  Or “know” the people getting your twits, er,…tweets.  Or “know” anyone on Plurk, Orkut, or Mister Wong.  (Those are real Share possibilities.  I am not making them up.  WordPress told me about them and I have included them on my Share list.  This is an inclusive blog.  Who am I to judge what type of social media Mr. Wong is using?)

I did this in response to a complaint request from a reader.  A reader who found it very difficult to read my blog, then open her email or facebook account, and then COPY my post url, and then PASTE my post url, and then hit SEND.  Really, I understand.  I often find it difficult to get new jeans out of the dryer, then pull them up over my hips, then have to zip them, snap them, and then on top of all that, do 50 squats just to stretch them out enough to be able to breathe in them for the rest of the day.  Wait….Maybe that’s an entirely different problem.

Anyway.

I would also like to point out that I installed this Share button a mere 12 hours after the initial complaint request.  Before getting out of my pajamas.  Before the milking.  (Not before the coffee.)  Wow!—-that is impressive customer service!!  Someone should Share this info with the Better Business Bureau.  Or the dentist that requires me to schedule appointments 6 months in advance.  Or the people who take 12 days to process my MasterCard payment and then say it was late even though I sent it in a whole 2 days before the due date.  I mean, really.  Is it my fault you have to send my check to India and back?

Furthermore, I would like to note that I DID THIS ALL BY MYSELF.  That’s right.  I didn’t even need a webinar.  Or a demo video with screenshots.  Apparently, I have moved beyond those amateur methods of blog editing.  I went right to the Plug In section of my blog, chose Share button, and hit INSTALL.  Obviously, I am practically a computer programmer.  Take that, Geek Squad.  You’re almost as obsolete as my CRT monitor.  Almost.

once again, you rock! I love to share your posts because they are so, so close to home.. and sometimes I keep them all to myself because none of my “friends” will treasure them as much as I do! Seriously, any time I see your post in my in box, I stop everything and read it.. kids screaming, dirty and hungry… I always know that it’s worth it.

I am so impressed. What I can’t believe is that I figured out on my own how to copy the url address and send it to friends on my own!!! I have even put you on Pinterest. You are too funny. I always love to read your blogs and really do share them with my daughters all the time. Mostly so they will believe my crazy stories about the farm.
